1. About AI Chat Exporter
AI Chat Exporter is a free Chrome extension that lets you export conversations from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek as PDF, Markdown, TXT, CSV or JSON files. It also lets you copy a conversation as Markdown, preview and edit PDF exports, export past chats in bulk as a ZIP, and create optional read-only share links.
2. Accepting These Terms
By installing or using AI Chat Exporter, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.
3. Free Service
AI Chat Exporter is free to use, with no account and no paid plan. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
4. Your Content
You keep all rights to your conversations. You are responsible for the content you export, copy or share, including any personal, confidential or third-party information in it.
5. Exports and Privacy
Export files are created locally in your browser. When you create a share link, only the chat title and the messages you select are uploaded so the read-only page can open. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Share Links
Anyone with a share link can view the messages on that page. Only share content you have the right to share and are comfortable making viewable. You can stop sharing a link at any time. We may remove shared pages that break these terms or the law.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use AI Chat Exporter to break any law, infringe anyone's rights, share content you are not authorized to share, distribute harmful or illegal material, or interfere with the extension or the AI services it works with.
8. Third-Party Services
AI Chat Exporter works with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek, which are run by other companies under their own terms and policies. You are responsible for following those terms. AI Chat Exporter is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek are trademarks of their respective owners.
9. Changes to Supported Sites
AI platforms change their websites from time to time, which can temporarily affect how the extension works. We aim to keep it working but cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.
10. No Warranty
AI Chat Exporter is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Please review important exports for completeness and accuracy.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AI Chat Exporter is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the extension. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, and continued use of the extension means you accept the updated terms.
